At
Shoe Savers, we pay very close attention to detail. We use materials
such
as soles and heels whose quality exceeds those used in most other shops
elsewhere. We buy our materials from sources coast to coast to ensure
that
only the finest are used on our repairs. We never cut costs by using
cheap or inferior materials. When recrafting men's shoes such as Allen
Edmonds and others, we now have all of the original factory components
to reassemble your shoes. This includes the soles, the heel bases, the
toplifts, and even the welting. Careful attention is paid to
sole
thickness. We use an industrial splitter to match the original
thickness
exactly. This pertains to ladies and men’s footwear alike. Delicate
thin soles on couture shoes remain thin and delicate. Your shoes will
never look as though they had a piece of "steak"put on them. We stock
numerous
different types of heels and toplifts of varying thicknesses to ensure
that your heels are
replaced
as close as possible to the factory originals. Very close attention is
also
given to heel height so that the replacements are exactly the same
height as the original. Soles are trimmed either with
round
or square edges as the original soles dictate. Heels are sanded to
perfect angles with a glasslike finish. your dress shoes will never
look as though they have a pitched "cowboy"heeel on them. We never use
any type of
spray to shine anything. All footwear is cleaned and shined by hand
followed by a final buffing with rag brushes to produce a natural "like
new"
appearance. All repairs are carefully put
through stringent quality control checks to ensure you, the customer,
that
your repairs are finished flawlessly down to the smallest detail.
We frequently visit the shoe departments of different stores so that we
have foresight into the latest fashion trends in order to acquire new
materials
as necessary. We can also advise you about preventative measures you
can take when you purchase new shoes(mens and ladies)and handbags and
the correct product(s) to use at home to keep your investment looking
good and wearing for as long as possible. To gain a more detailed
